Hiking in Lefkada
The best way to take in the beautiful landscapes and views of Lefkada is when you explore the island by foot, walking through olive groves and through beautiful untouched nature. The inland of Lefkas has not been exposed to mass tourism and that is why you here still can optimally enjoy the real authentic Greece.
During the walks you will fully unwind as it sometimes seems here as if time has stood still. You might see a local resident passing by on a donkey, or that you have to give way to a sheep shepherd with a large herd of sheep. During your walk, leave the phone at home and fully indulge in the Greek nature and quietness. The Greek population is very hospitable so when you get lost there is always a local resident willing to help you.
